About Us

Lawrence D. Bregman

Lawrence D. Bregman, M.S.,  Air Quality Meteorological Consultant.  Building Inspection and Website Consultant.  Nearly 40 years as a meteorologist, with experience in weather forecasting and air quality research, plus forensic discovery and testimony, and as a residential and commercial building inspector. 

EDUCATION.  Mr. Bregman earned a B.S. and an M.S. Degree in Meteorology-Atmospheric Sciences from UCLA. 

EXPERIENCE.  He served as a Meteorologist with the Rand Corporation, Southern California Edison Company, and other agencies.  He was a co-founder of  InstaWeather, Inc. in 1988, and was one of the weather forecasters and air quality specialists of the company, as it grew into  Continental Weather & Earth Sciences, Inc. 

CURRENT AFFILIATIONS.  Mr. Bregman has recently been a weather forecasting Meteorologist again at Southern California Edison Company.  He is also a professional building inspector.  He serves as an Air Quality Meteorological and Environmental Consultant, as well as a Website Consultant and Building Inspection Consultant, to American Weather & Hydrology, LLC, Environmental Science & Energy, Inc., and Associated Science Experts, LLC.   He  is available to perform climatological and air quality research and studies, building inspections, and other services.  

PRESENT AND FUTURE PLANS.  As a consultant to Environmental Science & Energy, Inc., Mr. Bregman is working with Dr. Charles b. Pyke, Timothy E. Wright, Philip K. Barone, Dr. William J. Trott, Zane A. Stephens, Paul Braden, and others in the:

Development of new-technology tidal and ocean wave energy for communities in coastal regions worldwide.

Development of wind, solar, hydroelectric, and other renewable energy for individual homes, farms, schools, and businesses worldwide.

Development of the latest-technology scientific instrumentation.

Determination of construction defects, foundation failures, and seismic and landslide hazards

Provision of climatic, meteorological, hydrologic, seismic, landslide, coastal, and ocean data, plus precise, pinpoint data interpolation to specific locations, as well as detailed expert data analysis and high-resolution mapping of data..

Protection and restoration of beaches, ports, harbors, marinas, seawalls, piers, and docks, plus lagoons, marshes, wetlands, and coral reefs.
